Red Cross - National Blood Drive (September 1st - October 31st)

Mission: In the face of such humbling acts of nature such as Hurricane Ike, we mere mortals are moved to action. Many of our neighbors, our friends, and our relatives are away from their homes. Some are without electricity. Some have substantial damage to property. And some are simply stranded, flooded and forced to wait for assistance.

The Camarilla has long had history of being not only a social organization, but a charitable one. However, when it hits home like hurricanes do in the South Central region, it is when the Camarilla shines best, helping others both within and without the Camarilla. We, as a region, could take pride in coming together over Hurricane Katrina to assist in various ways to our neighbors and friends. And now, we, as a region, can take pride in coming together to assist again
