Storyteller Side
1)
Zero Tolerance Policy announced by DST regarding Arguing
with Rules Calls at Games: If your character is not in a Life Threatening
situation or otherwise
severe circumstances that could significantly (especially
negatively) impact your character (i.e. Blood Bond, Death, Torpor) – let the
call roll for the sake of
game play and flow of game.
a.
Those that interrupt game to argue a rule point that does
not fit within the above-mentioned exceptional criteria will be awarded negative
experience
points, as this is considered a Moderate Offense (on the first
infraction) as per the Member Handbook (p. 74 on the book copy sent in member
packets)
" Arguing with an officer during an event, such as a storyteller during
game."
the choices at "Moderate Level" for
DA's on the Storyteller side Directly from the Membership Handbook: (1) No
experience awarded for 1 month
(2) up to 6 negative experience points (3)
Removal of a character from play for up to a month.
2)
To go with the Rules Call Announcement – Dale reminded
that our MST had made an announcement recently that the Books, Addendum, MST
Rules Calls,
and AMST Rules Calls that are specifically announced as such will
be accepted as "official rules" in the Sanctioned Camarilla Chronicle… old FAQ
and Rules lists
are not considered such any longer. If you have any questions –
feel free to inquire with your ST Staff
3)
Leo (Matt), our new ADST Cartographer discussed his
compilation efforts of locations that characters own, and how to represent them
on sheets, and things of
that nature.
a. If anyone has locations, especially, that have security measures that deal damage to trespassers, you need to get a hold of Leo.
b. Anyone with Resources over 3, Retainers, Allies, Contacts, Fame, etc. that would impact things Socially.. needs to contact Leo.
4)
VST Announcements – Rachel on Rules – Stressed that we're
here for the story – to play or to tell the story – not to nitpick. Let's all
remember to have fun! She
also recapped the rules call announcement from Thomas,
as we were getting members filtering in at various times during the meeting.
5)
Thomas made a clarification on challenges – reminder that
when running challenges, the defender's successes are subtracted from the
successes of the character
taking the action – however many successes are
leftover are the "number of successes" for the action's results.
6) Reminder that we will be having guests at next Requiem (12/20) at the Library. We will have potentially 10 or more out-of-towners.
7)
Cat tossed out an idea for yahoo groups or something of
that nature for local covenant groups that would otherwise be interacting
"behind the scenes" between
actual game sessions – to give that option to
players so that some things can be handled in between games if needed – and thus
won't take out actual game-time.
(or won't be spoiled by plot cookie taking up
lots of game night when there is an important meeting scheduled or something of
that nature).
8) There was a rundown of Domain IC news & Then Game Commenced.
Reminder to turn in Prestige information to DC & ADC: Prestige & There were some requests for log reviews. ADC: Prestige advised
